Family Health Counseling Services
Funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), the University of Applied Sciences (HAW) Develops a new program Applied Family Studies. Starting in the summer semester 2013, the program leads to a Master of Arts degree (MA).
This program in its current form is unique in Germany. At a later stage, the Master of Arts programs will be subject to charge.
Funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), the rewarded HAW project "Fit Next" is to develop three degree programs of further education. These interdisciplinary courses will be integrated into existing curricula at the HAW.
Students who complete the new program "Applied Family Studies" and "Next Media" will receive a Master of Arts degree. The extra-occupational program "Applied Health Sciences" finishes with a Bachelor of Science degree. The obligatory classes within each curriculum will be complemented by interdisciplinary classes, and the new target groups of employed students and students with children will be supported by additional Further counseling services.
