There is a wonderful agency called Richstone Family Counseling center in Lawndale. Contact them, when you are ready, and ask them if they could provide services for you on a sliding scale fee or if they know of an agency in your area that has a sliding scale fee.

My cousin was the same way when his sister was2008-06-15 13:13:41 by -
Born. He was 6 at the time, so a bit older than your DS. But the sibling rivalry between them was horrible. We have a rather traditional Southern family, so he was used to being the center of attention as the only child and youngest grandchild/nephew until she was born. My Aunt tried everything she could think of, counseling, letting him have alone time with her and my uncle and the rest of the family, everything. He still seemed to hate his sister. Finally, he came home one day and grabbed her leg (she was 3 at the time, he was 9) and broke it in five places. My uncle gave him the worst spanking of his life and sent him to our Grandma's house while my Aunt and Uncle were at the hospital for 3 days with my other cousin
