Kathy Steele, MN, CS is Clinical Director of Metropolitan Counseling Services, a non-profit, low-cost psychotherapy and training center and has a private practice in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. She was president of the ISSTD (International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation) and on the Board of the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Kathy has received several awards for her work, including the Lifetime Achievement Award from ISSTD, an award for lifetime achievement in 2010 and the Alumni Award in 2006 from Emory University in Atlanta (USA). Kathy is a much sought after supervisor, teacher and Coachin on the topics of bonding, therapeutic relationships, trauma and dissociation. She has written numerous book chapters and professional articles and two books.
